Two junior students from Maria Regina, the renowned all-girls Catholic high school, recently won first and second place honors in the annual ALANYC (Association of Legal Administrators, New York City Chapter) High School Legal Competition.
The honorees, Madison Wittock of Yonkers (first place) and Madison Rocco of the Bronx (second place), distinguished themselves during a fast-paced, competitive trivia event that tested the attendees’ knowledge of the legal field.
Wittock and Rocco were among a group of high school students from throughout the New York metro region interested in the legal profession who attended the day-long session that featured presentations by guest speakers. Students gained first-hand insight into potential career paths during Q&A with the presenters.
