St. John’s Riverside Hospital proudly celebrates the record-breaking success of its two signature fundraising events—the Marty & Iris Walshin Memorial Golf Classic and the “One Night Only” Gala—which raised funds to benefit the hospital’s Emergency Department expansion and renovation.
On June 24, 2025, golfers and community supporters gathered at Leewood Golf Club in Eastchester, NY for the annual Marty & Iris Walshin Memorial Golf Classic. Participants enjoyed a full day on the course, a chance to win a new car in the Hole-in-One contest sponsored by Ray Catena Lexus of Larchmont, and an evening reception featuring dinner, raffles, and a celebration of the tournament winners. The event also featured a special guest appearance by former New York Yankees player Roy White, who greeted participants and joined in the day’s festivities.
On October 24, 2025, St. John’s Riverside Hospital hosted its “One Night Only” Gala at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle, NY, honoring two distinguished leaders: Dr. Iyad Annabi, owner of Westchester Family Medical Practice and member of the St. John’s Riverside Hospital Board of Trustees, who received the Physician Distinguished Service Award, and Dr. Silvia M. Ferretti, Senior Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), who received the Helen Andrus Benedict Community Strong Award. The Gala welcomed a record number of attendees who enjoyed an elegant evening of cocktails, dinner, live entertainment, and a silent auction celebrating the hospital’s ongoing commitment to excellence in healthcare.
Funds raised from both events will directly support St. John’s Riverside Hospital’s Emergency Department expansion and renovation project, a transformational initiative designed to enhance access to care and elevate the patient experience for the communities the hospital serves.
