IO Art Center is pleased to announce FUN HOUSE, a major new immersive
exhibition by New York–based artist Jonny Detiger, that opened November 8, 2025 and is running
through December 15, 2025.
Blending color, sound, light, sculpture, interactivity, and playful design, FUN HOUSE transforms the
gallery into a multi-sensory environment that invites visitors of all ages to step inside a world of joy,
surprise, and imagination.
Detiger—whose practice spans painting, sound installations, kinetic objects, sculpture, and multimedia
design—brings his signature energetic aesthetic to Palisades with an exhibition that celebrates
community, creativity, and the spirit of discovery.
A NY Artist With Global Reach
A longtime creator within New York’s vibrant art and design scene, Detiger is known for works that
merge nostalgia, music culture, optimism, and vibrant visual storytelling. His installations have
appeared in public spaces, music venues, galleries, and private collections internationally.
With FUN HOUSE, Detiger brings his creative universe close to home, presenting a major body of work
specifically tailored to the unique architectural and natural setting of IO Art Center and the Hudson
River Valley.
An Interactive Journey Through Color & Sound
The exhibition features new multi-channel audio works, interactive sculptures, paintings, light-based
pieces, and atmospheric elements that engage the senses. Multiple zones within the gallery invite
visitors to participate, sit, listen, and experience uplifting art.
“Art, fashion, design and music have always been an integral part of my life and art,” says Jonny. “I
move freely between these disciplines and create projects of ‘living art’ environments that incorporate
sound, smell, design and color. Happiness, humor and positivity are common themes that run through
all of my work. I am always interested in how art interacts with space and how it can enhance and uplift
the vibration of that space.”
