New York State Senator Pete Harckham presented North Salem Volunteer Ambulance Corps Captain Kurt Guldan with the New York State Commendation Award in recognition of his decades of dedicated service—from volunteering with the North Salem VAC and Croton Falls Fire Department since age 16, to leading the town’s Office of Emergency Management, serving on the North Salem school board, and responding at Ground Zero after 9/11.
