Westchester Disabled On the Move and Simone Development Hold Ribbon Cutting for New State-of-the-Art Headquarters in North Yonkers

Westchester Disabled On the Move Inc. (WDOM) and Simone Development Companies today held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate WDOM’s new headquarters at One Executive Boulevard in North Yonkers, NY.

The move to the newly renovated four-story medical office building is part of WDOM’s efforts to provide a new, more modern space for its employees and a more accessible location for its clients.

WDOM helps people with disabilities, the elderly, and low-income families live independent lives by providing them with access to healthcare, housing, and other assistance through social programs.

The ceremony was attended by a distinguished group of local and county leaders, including Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins.

The ceremony was followed by a tour of their offices in Suite 205.

“We are delighted to welcome Westchester Disabled On the Move to their new home at One Executive Boulevard,” said Joe Simone, President of Simone Development Companies. “This property was specifically repurposed into a state-of-the-art medical building to suit the high-standard needs of organizations like Westchester Disabled On the Move, who require accessibility and convenience for the people they serve.”

Maria Samuels, Executive Director of Westchester Disabled On the Move, said, “This move has been a long time in coming and we so excited to finally be in a brand-new space with so many possibilities. The convenient location and accessibility for our clients made this the perfect choice. This next chapter in our continued growth marks our commitment to providing leading services and advocacy for all of Westchester’s disability community. We are delighted to remain in Yonkers.”
