Community members came together for a night of music, laughter, and generosity as Ossining MATTERS hosted its Sip, Sing & Support karaoke fundraiser at Sing Sing Kill Brewery on Friday, March 6, 2026, raising more than $6,000 to support educational initiatives for Ossining students.
The sold-out event brought together parents, educators, local leaders, and community supporters for an evening of karaoke, raffles, and silent-auction prizes — all benefiting programs that enrich learning opportunities in the Ossining Union Free School District.
Guests took the stage throughout the night to sing their favorite songs while enjoying locally crafted beverages and bidding on unique auction items. The lively atmosphere reflected the strong spirit of community support for education in Ossining.
“We were thrilled by the turnout and generosity of everyone who attended,” said Gina Balog-Sartario, President of Ossining MATTERS, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students and schools in the community. “Events like this show how much our community values education and the opportunities we can create for students when we work together.”
Funds raised from the event will support Ossining MATTERS’ grant program, which funds enrichment and educational projects proposed by teachers and staff across the district.
Ossining MATTERS also extended special thanks to Sing Sing Kill Brewery, event donors, volunteers, and community members whose contributions made the evening a success.
Additional photos and highlights from the evening will be shared on the organization’s social channels in the coming days.
